Neighbors complain about lots of things. A stuffed fish hung up over the garage in an upscale neighborhood was proposed as a possible “inappropriate alteration” at the Boca Raton Historic Preservation Board meeting last week.
Only one member of the Board held their nose and gave it the thumbs down.
The homeowner in question holds fishing titles, and the neighborhood encourages quirkiness. So since several board members live there, and understand the quirkiness, the fish was allowed to stay.
No further action is expected, at least not until the next time, or maybe if the fish starts to smell!
