To Make Money You Need a Marketing Plan! Be First, Inc. Delves into the Battle of Facebook vs. Google+

We have been speaking about this company over the past few weeks and the response has been astronomical from businesses to artists; from writers to independent organizations. Be First, Inc. has a proven rack record that shows them to be the best social media advertising group in the world today!

Be First, Inc. is a company that lives up to its reputation as “the branding experts,” and with each and every week this company brings another ‘golden nugget’ of information to the business world, and shows what a business, corporation or individual needs in order to make their branding a complete and utter success.

The wealth of information that Be First, Inc. provides is monumental, AND it is very much needed. For all types of businesses and entertainment out there in the world today, there will be no money coming in if there is not a marketing plan set in place and branding going out. Your name, your product, your Service, your music, books – whatever it is that you happen to want to promote to the rest of the world – NEEDS to be promoted by the absolute best. Your name needs to become a brand all its own, and only then will you achieve the success you ultimately deserve.

Now, the whole world knows about Facebook, Twitter, etc. – the downsides and upsides of people and businesses using these particular platforms to make their company and themselves become larger than life. What people may not know is that very recently, Google’s new network has been working quite diligently to outdo Facebook and it‘s many applications for its customers. In fact, these two powerhouses are coming to terms with the fact that more and more businesses, artists, writers, etc. are making their names over the internet. They want branding, and they have given up the old ways of signage, business cards, etc. to get their name ‘in the door.’

Google+ and Facebook seem to be caught in a world where each one wants to shine and come out as the best, actually disregarding Twitter which is odd, seeing as that at least Twitter offers the ‘gift’ of being ‘real-time’ where people do not have to wait for their messages to go out into the world and begin the branding. Of course, for consumers and customers no one really cares how much Google and Facebook fight. In fact, it very much reminds everyone of Apple versus Microsoft. In the end, all the people and businesses cared about was what the two companies were going to do for them. God bless America, right? In the end, when two monumental forces collide the consumer is the one that gets to reap the rewards. And that, my friends, is the way democracy should be. After all, we’re the ones working our behinds off for success, the least these megaliths could do is offer stellar services and a way for us to market and bring in the money.

Google+ is what the program is called. Not exactly the most creative of phrases, but Google has already proven to run the internet. More people get on their machines and go for Google research than anything else in the world – even grabbing a book from the library is out now.

When Google+ AP opened, millions received that colorful “platform” on their screens introducing the new-found program. Of course, I, as many others, didn’t even know what this was all about. The end-user simply saw this as yet another advertising option with no actual reasoning behind it. It took only about a week for the world to find out they were wrong. Google+ API has suddenly drawn-in consumers, editors, developers, and artists from all over the world trying to set up their “Buzz” and links in order to get their customers to know who they are and brand more and more every day. This, of course, IS close to the Facebook “Lists,” where the consumer or business gets their lists created for them. Seeing as that Facebook has been around a long time already, it will be interesting to see if many people use this specific marketing platform – or just continue with Facebook as they have been.

Google+ Search is something else that’s new – although, to this writer, let’s face it – if I want to search for something, I already head straight to Google anyway – nothing new there. Of course, with this addition, now a business or consumer can search for their topic, and then filter the information received into various results – categories such as: “Google+ Posts” and “Sparks.” As everyone already knows, the Facebook search is powered by Bing…and not very good.

Facebook is adding a few applications that are completely “Twitter-based,” as if seeing the monumental overload of people switching to Twitter in order to receive ‘real-time’ updates and be able to send ‘real-time’ messages to their followers.

Google+ will also move into the mobile realm. Google is launching its own mobile version, where there will be multi-user capabilities right on personal mobile devices. They are even allowing a way that you and your company can broadcast “On the Air” and even integrate Google Docs, screen sharing, and more!

Of course, there are other things in the works; some specifically aimed at the “Teen” community which seems to have taken over the world where entertainment, art, books, communication, etc. are concerned. And they are also the main sector of many businesses to focus their products and services on – and Facebook and Google+ will definitely make sure that the “teen” voice is recognized.

In the end, yes, the Facebook network is still the largest social networking site in the world, and they, too will have their announcements to release. However, Be First, Inc. already knows the power behind the Google + API program, and their wisdom can aid all businesses in making their products and services available to billions of sites, customers, and realms.

The Be First, Inc. Ultimate Business Promotion Package offers so many components to businesses, consumers, and artists that it is truly incredible. The publicity is one-of-a-kind, including: creative images, audios, videos, real-time links, news stories, announcements, and promotion on multiple websites – with complete and in-depth articles and features on Twitter and Facebook. And, just to remind you, the rundown of social media sites and the amount of people using these sites has grown exponentially, and Be First Inc., is the company that can use each and every one of these sites to benefit YOU.

Facebook: 750 million active users; Twitter: 200 million; the global community now spends over 110 billion minutes on social networks and blog sites. By utilizing these amazing ‘gifts’ that are already a huge success across the globe, Be First, Inc. offers full social media portfolios. They extend YOUR message to additional key demographic, geographic and behavioral sites – with over 67+ posts every day! Be First, Inc. brands YOUR message and guarantees consistency in all networks. And now, with Google+ API hitting the superhighway, Be First, Inc. is the ONLY company of marketing professionals to use every aspect of the internet world and the social marketing universe to increase your revenue and make you a ‘household name.’

Precious Gems Publishing – Giving Debut Authors Their VOICE!

Readers – and writers, of course – we have been speaking about this brand new publishing company over the past few weeks and the response has been astronomical. Not a big shock, considering the way the literary community (i.e., traditional publishing houses) are working right now. The amount of authors that are being overlooked, or thrown into a ‘slush’ pile (even though their manuscript was asked for by someone in the company); and the unbelievable amount of form rejection letters that are being sent back, are unbelievably horrific.

Somewhere along the way the ‘form rejection letter’ became the way to turn an author down. This is completely unacceptable in more ways than one, folks. The first, is that an author works their tail off, and puts their passion and drive into their manuscript for a reason. A writer is not created – they are born. And there are many who have put together a book that the masses very much want to read and would love. How does the author know this for a fact? The power of digital publishing and eBooks, but we will get to all that proof in just a minute. What is another reason why the ‘form rejection letter’ is unacceptable? Because it is simply a ‘way out.’ All of the websites that you research, making sure to send your query letter to the right agents and right publishers who deal with your genre – where the website states in big, bold ink that they WANT to read your query – are the ones that seem to keep the query letter for a month or more just to then send back a letter that states: “Thank you for sending us your book, (fill in title here). Although it sounds very good (etc.) it is unfortunately, not what we represent.” Even though, on their site, it is very much what they represent.

Quite frankly, if someone does not like the first three chapters then say why. Criticism IS good, because it allows the author to take a ‘fresh’ look and see if changes should be made, or if it was simply a case of an agent or publisher with no time on their hands who didn’t bother to read in the first place.

Now, perhaps agents and publishers out there are about to get mad. But they shouldn’t. No one is saying that a query letter can’t stink. There are many letters (sorry, authors) that are not good. The spelling, grammar, punctuation says it all sometimes. And there are times when the plot is just something you may NOT want to represent. Which is absolutely fine. BUT the author should be told why. There is no way for an author to get better at their chosen career without knowing, in the first place what they did wrong. And, when a form letter is sent, it very much leads the author to believe that it was not read in the first place, and that the person clicking the rejection letter is just doing it because it is their job.

Authors, agents, publishers – this is a trio that needs to work together. And even though the agent and publisher may not believe this – the author does understand the bottom-line. They do understand that certain genres are hugely popular in this day and age (i.e., YA, paranormal, gothic, etc.), and that other genres have fallen behind (i.e., Christian fiction, bodice-ripper romance, etc.) and that there are very specific publishing companies for that material. But, let’s face it, when reviewers and bookstores are getting some of the new fiction that is being published, it speaks to the masses that perhaps agents and publishers do NOT know what is selling. There has been a wealth of YA books that are turning toward child abuse, drugs, suicide, etc. that are, quite frankly, NOT selling. So it becomes a question of “Who actually knows what readers want?” And, if anyone is still ‘in the game enough’ to choose the best titles and take a chance on a new author with a new idea?

We have spoken before about how the literary world has become jaded; even articles are popping up where people who have quit and left the industry are speaking out about the fact that they saw the ‘inside world’ and didn’t like it. This writer has listened to remarks made from industry people regarding how they saw great books being overlooked because of other…situations that should not have happened. And they have also remarked that some queries (if not a great many of them) were never read. They were assigned to an intern to “get rid of.” Again, there are some truly great agents and publishers still out there who DO still believe in authors…but that number is dwindling.

It was no surprise when authors began to take it upon themselves to “see” if the people rejecting them were right. Turns out, they weren’t. E-Books and the world of digital publishing is slowly taking over, and providing a platform that allows authors to lend their VOICE to the literary community. And, in fact, some of the most brilliant voices have been found there – marketing their books on Kindle and garnering not only rave reviews, but extremely high sales.

Branding has been the key for these authors. They not only had the passion and drive to write – but they carried that passion and drive over to branding themselves and causing fans to flock to their side. Only then, did the ‘Big Six’ take the time to “see” them and bring them on board.

Precious Gems Publishing was a company that was created BY authors FOR authors, because of the way things have been running in the past decade. Precious Gems Publishing KNOWS that great books are being completely overlooked, and they are tired of what could be stellar authors shelving their manuscripts or throwing them in desk drawers simply because they received that form rejection letter. Precious Gems Publishing researched and worked for a long time before coming together, making sure they could give the author and readers what they wanted and deserved.

From professional editors who have been in the industry for decades; to hiring the best graphic designers to create covers that will live on in the readers’ imagination long after the book has been read, Precious Gems Publishing covered all the bases. But they also went one step further. The creators found a way to make sure that the author would receive a digital platform and a FULL marketing campaign. Precious Gems Publishing wanted to make sure, before even attempting this, that all authors would be getting radio programs to speak about their books; would receive tweets and postings on Facebook and Twitter; professional book trailers; and, articles in magazines and newsletters .reaching millions of readers. In essence, Precious Gems Publishing not only wanted to find the outstanding fiction books that are out there right now, but they also wanted to be able to brand the author and their book

While in the midst of setting up their website, Precious Gems Publishing doesn’t want to make the author wait any longer. They will receive a real “live” editor to work with, as well as a real “live” designer to work with. They will receive a full marketing department standing behind them to get their message to the masses, and brand them for all time. And they do this for $899 and nothing more. There are no ‘scams’ that you must pay more for this, this, and that. There are no premiere packages to sign up for, or a demand that the author purchase copies themselves. Precious Gems Publishing has brought their wisdom into the digital publishing world – and they are looking for Fiction Authors who are necessary to the literary community.

That means YOU! Stop giving up. Send your query to someone who will actually READ it!!

MedeFile Touts Benefits of Internet-Enabled Health Records

MedeFile may have an uphill battle on their hands.

The Boca Raton company wants to convince Americans to put their health records on the internet. With so much hacking and data loss going on, it will be a tough sell. The company thinks they can do it, though, and they are set to start an extensive – and probably expensive campaign to convince Americans that it is a good idea and that their information is safe.

Starting this month and continuing through July 2012, MedeFile International, Internet-enabled Personal Health Record management company, begins airing 60-second infomercials, and four different six-minute interviews with MedeFile’s Chairman, President and CEO Kevin Hauser.

Their aim is to promote mass market awareness of MedeFile and educate American consumers on the need for and many benefits of MedeFile’s personal health record solutions.

“New to the Street,” featuring MedeFile, will be produced and broadcast by FMW Media Works Corp., an affiliate of Inawa Corp. The televised spots will air 1,000 times or more, over the contracted one-year period on  cable TV networks, ION and FOX, and possibly on ABC, CBS, CNN, and MSNBC in these metro markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Boston, Philadelphia, San Francisco/San Jose, Atlanta, Washington and Houston.

“The time has come to begin pro-actively generating mass consumer awareness of and appreciation for MedeFile’s personal health record management solutions and the many key differentials that makes MedeFile the ‘must have’ iPHR for consumers of all ages,” stated Hauser.

The media is fraught with coverage relating to the loss of medical records following recent natural disasters, fire, theft, and the closing of physician offices — among other causes, serving to emphasize the already pronounced need for individuals to take responsibility for the control and protection of their family’s medical records and vital health information. Moreover, adoption of electronic personal health records has won the support and advocacy of the White House, federal and state government agencies, numerous leading insurance carriers and major medical associations. Nonetheless, consumer adoption of PHRs, generally speaking, has been slow.

“MedeFile has spent nearly a decade developing, enhancing and scaling what we believe is the most secure, patient-centric and intuitive PHR platform on the market. When building MedeFile, we not only factored all required aspects of what should comprise a perfect PHR, but we also factored human nature and the logical barriers to mass PHR adoption,” continued Hauser. “Foremost was the fact that collecting actual medical records from all of one’s care providers, i.e. physicians, specialists, dentists, labs, etc., is a time-consuming and frustrating process for anyone endeavoring to create their own PHR, much less dealing with the added difficulty of digitizing and/or storing the records somewhere safe. Recognizing that most people will simply not do this — until they are confronted with a medical crisis that requires it — it is no surprise that few, if any, competitive PHR solutions on the market have achieved any meaningful market traction.”

“Through this year-long televised advertising campaign, we intend to reach and convince millions of Americans that by subscribing to MedeFile’s monthly premium service, they will join the growing legion of consumers who now enjoy the peace of mind that comes from having a comprehensive, secure electronic personal health record without all the headaches of building and maintaining it themselves,” concluded Hauser.
