Americans are telling the federal government they’ve had enough! Now it isn’t only the Tea Parties saying this. The Tea Party movement has been telling the politicians all year and all year teh politicians have been ignoring them and making fun of them.
Even President Obama has spoken out about Tea Party members, some of whom voted for him and his party. Bill Clinton, in an interview said the Tea Party members were unwitting pawns of the GOP.
Now, many more groups are starting to speak out. Will the politicians speak ill of all Americans soon?
One such group, Spending Revolt, formed in 1984 is running a bus tour. Spending Revolt doesn’t endorse candidates or contribute to campaigns. The tour has been sponsored by Americans for Prosperity, Concerned Women for America, the 60 Plus Association and Citizens Against Government Waste. Three of these groups are conservative political advocacy groups. Citizens Against Government Waste is a nonprofit that has previously campaigned on behalf of the tobacco industry, and other large industries.
The tour stated in Miami and passed through Boca Raton in it’s way to Tallahassee.
Do you think the federal politicians are listening to the voices of the people they are meant to serve??
