Roger Federer will not endorse Six Sigma Tennis over IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy in a side-by-side comparison, according to IMG Senior Vice President, Tony Godsick, in Sarasota, Florida.
Not surprising, since IMG represents Federer, although he was not a student of the IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy and his playing style is more reflective of the Zero-Defect Six Sigma Tennis teaching methodology.
Steven Falk’s Six Sigma Tennis is a methodology drawn from his experience with applying the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards, Six Sigma quality improvement processes and Zero Defects strategies in large corporations
The teaching methodology is used as a curriculum model in school education programs around the world. Steven Falk is a former Stanford Tennis USPTA Pro, and USTA Official.
Asking Federer to endorse the system is an obvious ploy to be able to issue a press release linking Federer’s name with Six Sigma.
